The Bavarian company BIOLINK makes adhesive tapes and films using an in-house developed solvent-free UV-cross-linking production technology with pure or modified acrylate adhesives. By means of the unique characteristics of the BIOLINK tapes, such as an enhanced adhesive performance (adhesion and cohesion), low ageing indications and no air bubbles or solvent occlusions, these are suitable for applications for which the adhesion properties of traditional adhesive tapes are insufficient.

The company has been certificated under ISO/TS 16949:2002 and delivers to such demanding markets as the automotive, construction aviation, space and sign industries. The production range consists, among other things, of transfer films, double-sided adhesive tapes, foam adhesive tapes, re-positionable adhesive tapes and scrim reinforced adhesive tapes. The differing BIOLINK products with the names Translink, Prolink, Flexlink, Unilink, Foamlink, Relink and Netlink deliver a high level of performance under extreme conditions. They are, among other things, binding, insulative, elastic, temperature-resistant, high-tensile adhesives or re-positionable. Under the term Customlink, customer-specific special developments are formed. BIOLINK describes the adhesive film Prolink 1000RS/P as an innovation with its primer. It is characterised by its excellent adhesive qualities on polar surfaces and is very stable in a wide temperature range, and resistant to ageing and UV radiation. It can be supplied in white or transparent. Typical applications for this adhesive film are silicon profiles, e.g. seals for movable joint faces in the bath area or the sealing of aluminium profiles, e.g. in lorry structures and in metal working. Outstanding results were also achieved with its use on lacquered wood or powder-lacquered surfaces such as undercoated oven doors or oven displays. BIOLINK is a subsidiary company of PLANATOL.
